In this post I am primarily going to use this as a “dumping ground”, for lack of a better term, for some of my earliest drawings that I photographed. These are going to be a lot of studies but I still think that it’s important to also include the drawings that weren’t really meant to be much more than practice, because it’s a good way to record my progress. I will include short descriptions for most, if not all, of these but if you have any other questions or comments, feel free to leave a comment or reach out to me privately. My email is going to be listed at the bottom of this post.
These sketches above are from the first six months or so of my artistic journey. I did a lot of graphite drawings but I was experimenting a little with colored pencils, despite never really fully getting the hang of them.
Above are some early sketches from the first 6 months or so of my journey again, but these are from a time when I began experimenting with other mediums, especially with color.
These are just a few more of my drawings from the first 6 months or so of my journey. I tend to lean a lot more into drawings with monsters, creatures, horror elements, etc. Even though this is far from all of my drawings from this time period, I will be adding a portfolio to this website that contains all of my work up until this point. At least everything that has been photographed.
